Just like in 2019: will there be another ghost game for GC on Sunday?

class=”sc-29f61514-0 dXbCZE”>

Today meets Sunday GC in Letzigrund Stade Lausanne Ouchy. This meeting took place for the first time in the championship in 2019. It was a special game. Because of two reasons. Firstly: It was the first classification match in the second highest division in 68 years after relegation. And secondly, it was a ghost game, imposed after the GC riots in Lucerne. How many spectators will come to Letzigrund today?

Formula 1: Most common second world champions

1. Stirling Moss († 2020): four second world titles
It has long been clear who will be world champion in 2023, but who will take the title of second world champion this year? The British Moss came second four times: in 1955, 1956, 1957 and 1958. There were also three third places at the World Championships.

1. Alain Prost (68): four second world titles
The Frenchman also finished second at the World Championships four times (1983, 1984, 1988 and 1990). But unlike Moss, Prost also became world champion. Four times (1985, 1986, 1989 and 1993).

3. Graham Hill († 1975): three second world titles
The Briton narrowly missed winning the World Cup three times in a row between 1963 and 1965. In 1962 and 1968 he became world champion. His son Damon also won two second world titles (1994 and 1995).

3. Lewis Hamilton (38): three second world titles
The seven-time world champion is usually not a man for second places. But in the last two races of 2023 he wants to win his fourth second world title after 2007, 2016 and 2021.

3. Fernando Alonso (42): three second World Cup titles
The Spaniard also knows what it feels like to narrowly miss out on the World Cup title. In 2010, 2012 and 2013 he finished second behind Sebastian Vettel. Speaking of Vettel, he and Nigel Mansell also have three second World Cup titles.

When Argentina reached the World Cup final in Qatar and met France, Paulo Dybala Substituted shortly before time for the penalty shootout. Partly thanks to his converted penalty, the Gauchos became world champions. At the Wednesday the striker, who plays for AS Roma, celebrates his 30th anniversary.

FC Basel has had little reason to celebrate in recent months. Except last Sunday, when the red-blue team finally won again after a long dry period and a coaching change. FCB could also kick off here Wednesday. Then the club celebrates 130th anniversary.
