Now it’s solved. FC Basel dismissed coach Heiko Vogel after the recent 3-0 defeat against Lausanne-Sport.
The bang is accompanied by an announcement. Even under Vogel as coach, FCB did not win and did not score a single goal in the entire month of October.

Fabio Celestini now takes over the FCB first team as head coach. “As a former Super League professional, 35-time Swiss national player and multi-year Super League coach (Lausanne, Lugano, Lucerne, Sion), Celestini knows Swiss football very well,” Basel writes about Celestini.
With the new coach, Basel now wants to fully focus on the cup match with Kriens on Wednesday. The training planned for today will therefore take place behind closed doors. It is expected that Celestini himself will answer questions for the first time at the end of this week.
