Rarely have two coaches agreed as much as after this 2-2 draw. Both Red Star coach Barak Bakhar and YB coach Raphael Wicky were disappointed with the result. So the emotional worlds were the same. The reasons vary.

And Wicky when asked whether YB is now the favorite in terms of European winter: “That would mean that neither Red Star nor we will get a point elsewhere and that the only thing that matters is this one match in Bern. That’s the wrong mentality going into the other games. Again, it’s a good point away. But we’re frustrated because we felt like we could have gotten more here. We were close to victory. But at this level you need the perfect game to win.”
