Dominique Aegerter is losing ground in the Superbike World Championship.

Two weeks after his fall in Magny-Cours, the Bernese, who is in 9th place in the World Cup standings, hopes for a top 10 placement on Friday with good training. However, he will never be in the top positions on Saturday.

Italian Michael Rinaldi took victory ahead of Turk Toprak Razgatlioglu and Briton Jonathan Rea. World Cup leader Alvaro Bautista falls twice and remains scoreless. The Spaniard’s lead is reduced to 37 points. (SDA)
