But at the moment many attackers are injured.” One of them is Lucerne loanee Nando Toggenburger (19). The man from Uri would have liked to play against his parent club.

The absences from the attack should not diminish Thun’s chances of progressing. ‘I expect a close game. The episodes will decide.” Will there even be a penalty shootout? “Everything is possible. There is no draw in the cup (laughs). But we would be prepared. We practice penalty kicks regularly.”

Duel with a personal connection

For Lustrinelli, the matches against Lucerne are certainly something special. Finally, after his period at Sparta Prague, he played in Central Switzerland for a year and a half. “In retrospect, it’s a shame I didn’t stay longer.” He has very fond memories of that time. “People live there for football. I felt a lot of love from the fans.”
