The Mariñanos won four medals in the Galician junior and infant categories

Olympic rowing in Ribadense continues to flourish. A little over a week ago, three of his pledges climbed to the podium of the Spanish cadet championship held in Banyoles, and the new generation is also reaping the fruits of their labor. The Ribadeo Rowing Club won four medals and confirmed itself among the best quarries in Galicia at the Galicia Junior and Children’s Championship that was just held in Castrelo de Miño.

The two medals won in the waters of Ourense were gold. Antón Balsa was the great dominator of the children’s 1x, and his classmate Carlota Peña also triumphed in the single boat. In addition, Martina Castro and Sara Rodríguez climbed to the second drawer of the podium and won silver in the 2x children category, while Paloma Monteserín and Adriana García were third in the 2x junior category.

The Mariñano expedition to Castrelo de Miño ended with another good handful of athletes achieving good positions in their finals.
