Cup draw Monday: these amateur clubs dream of YB and Basel

1. FC Frutigen (3rd division FVB): The first round of the Swiss Cup 2023/24 will be drawn on Monday. As always, the amateurs want an opponent that is as attractive as possible. This also applies to FC Frutigen, who qualified through fair play.

4. FC Schönenwerd-Niedergoesgen (2nd division AFV): The Solothurners, who play in the football association Aargau, are in seventh heaven. A nice fourth place in the championship, a victory in the Aargauer Cup and the municipality recently asked CHF 600,000 for a new clubhouse.

5. FC Winkeln (2nd division OFV): In addition to the East Swiss, the following 2nd division clubs are also represented in the Swiss Cup: Malcantone, Greifensee, Buchs, Genolier-Begnins, Gunzwil, Haute-Gruyère, Iliria, Onex, Porrentruy, Saint-Blaise and Savièse.
