“We don’t want mercenaries!”: Bayern’s departure from Hernandez with a roar

FC Bayern acquired Lucas Hernandez (27) in 2019 for around 80 million euros from Atlético Madrid, making him the most expensive player in the club’s history. Hernandez’s wrong game

Because when he tore his cruciate ligament at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Bayern always stood by him and would even have offered him a contract extension. But Hernandez and his advisor played for time. “The most important thing now is that Lucas really gets back to health,” his adviser Manuel Garcia Quilon said at the time.
