So far, four of the five factions in the small chamber have been affected by the dismissal of the Council of States. Only the largest faction, the center, has not announced any resignations so far. In the current legislature, almost half of the Council of States – 22 of the 46 members – took office.
The situation in the National Council is even less clear as some members of the grand chamber have not yet announced their intentions. The main hall was also radically renovated and rejuvenated during the “climate and women’s elections” in the autumn of 2019. At that time, 29 council members were not seeking re-election. 31 others were voted out.
