According to Selenski, his government is preparing to join the DEF. He left it open whether he wanted to go to Davos in person or connect virtually.
Last year, the President of Ukraine sent a video message to the business elite, who met exceptionally in Davos in May due to Corona. Now the World Economic Forum will again be held in the traditional first month of the year, January 16-20.
Davos would be Selenski’s second overseas trip since the start of the war.
In 2022, the Klitschkos brothers were already physically in Davos. Former world boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko (46) and Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko (51) were vying for financial support for their war-torn homeland.
