Humbel is one of the most experienced politicians in parliament and has been a member of the National Council since 2003. Before that, she politicized as a councilor in Aargau for 22 years. Humbel accused her party of bullying
Meier resigned from the Grand Council of Aargau in the summer, at the same time announcing that he would move to the National Council – moving up for Humbel. However, she had not yet announced her resignation.
