“No, today we did not elect the court committee…”: SVP-Aeschi gives lecture to new national councilor Rosenwasser

Since this session, there are more than 50 new faces in the Parliament in Bern. Among the newly elected politicians is Anna Rosenwasser (33), political influencer from Zurich and LGBTQ activist.

As a smart influencer, the new SP national councilor lets her community know on Instagram what she is experiencing these days. For example, she posts her first selfie from a toilet in the Federal Palace, shows photos of the relaxation area for women or provides information about the agenda of the National Council.

But on Wednesday morning she made a mistake in an Instagram story. Rosenwasser reported that she and the parliament would choose the “Judicial Commission” – which would be a bit strange, since the commission consists of parliamentarians and its seats are divided among the parliamentary groups. Instead, judicial elections were on Parliament’s agenda.

Rosenwasser drew the attention of none other than SVP faction leader Thomas Aeschi (44) to this faux pas – publicly

Aeschi’s correction was appreciated by center faction leader Philipp Matthias Bregy (45).

Rosenwasser has not yet responded to the swipe, but simply deleted the story in question. She did this not because of the mistake, but because “completely different things happened thematically” afterward, she told Blick. She also has no idea what the SVP faction leader wrote on X, since she can hardly be found on the platform.

At least the left-wing influencer now knows: she has followers in the far right corner of parliament.
