And see you soon! Marco Rima, candidate for the Zug Council of States, leaves the Tele-1 studio in anger.

At a certain point the fun stops for comedian and opponent of the measures Marco Rima (62): As an independent, he wants to be elected to the Council of States by the people of Zug on October 22. Together with Green National Councilor Manuela Weichelt (56) and FDP State Councilor Matthias Michel (60), he campaigned for himself in the program ‘Kontrovers’ on the television channel Tele 1 – and lost his patience several times.

There were heated discussions during the broadcast. Moderator Armin Camenzind had to slow Rima down and make it clear to him: “You are the comedian, but I am the moderator.”

Marco Rima was probably a little annoyed by that. After the actual recording was completed, he unmistakably let moderator Camenzind know. When a trailer had to be recorded for the show, the recording was too long, so the moderator asked the candidates to repeat their ‘advertising slogans’ for a shorter period of time.

“This is all really getting on my nerves”

Then Rima’s patience finally broke. You just have to edit your first shot together. That’s how it’s done anyway. “This is all really getting on my nerves. The show was anything but controversial,” Rima complained.

He accused the moderator of a lack of preparation on certain topics, ripped the microphone from his body and angrily left the studio. All that can be heard on the recording is a loud bang.

In any case, the comedian would have said goodbye to those present afterwards. Rima later explained: “I felt like I was being put in a corner by the moderator.” He wanted to release his anger. “If I’m not satisfied, I just leave.”
