Elena Ampudia, Luciano Alfaya, Antonio Davila and Elvira Carregado lead the four candidacies for the leadership of the Colexio de Arquitectos de Galicia (COAG), whose elections take place this Thursday. In addition, the management committees of the delegations of A Coruña, Santiago and Ourense will be renewed. In the other cities — Lugo, Pontevedra, Vigo and Ferrol — the candidates have already been declared elected because there is only one list.

The three candidates for the leadership of Galicia were already part of the current government team. The dean since 2019, Elena Ampudia (Andorra, 1973), ran for re-election at the head of the COAG23 candidacy. For her part, Elvira Carregado (Ferrol, 1965), who has been the school’s secretary for the last four years, leads Téa COAG. The head of Territorio COAG is Antonio Davila (Vigo, 1954), who has been a member of the board of directors of the school for Vigo since 2019. The fourth applicant is Luciano Alfaya (Pontevedra, 1974), partner of the MuñizAlfaya studio in A Coruña and expert in urban planning, who runs COAG Aberto as manager.

The members of A Coruña, Ourense and Santiago must also elect the board of directors of the delegation. There are four candidates in the Herculean city—Clara González, Óscar Pedrós, Encarnación Ruth Varela and Roberto Pardo—. There are two candidates in Ourense: Emma Noriega and Óscar González. María Labrador and Ángel Cid are candidates in Santiago.
