Switzerland’s long drought at the Eurovision Song Contest is definitely over. For the fifth time in a row, our country will most likely reach the finals of the largest music competition – the song “Code” by Nemo has performed well (24). As in previous years, the selection process using market research and various juries has once again proven its effectiveness.
Nemo delivers all the parcels arriving at ESC. An epic and theatrical song that can be performed beautifully on stage, with a catchy melody and an emotional backstory to the song.
Nemo inspires some with his non-binary nature, and turns others on. And Nemo doesn’t let anything get him down. This persistence, this mix, already worked when Conchita Wurst (35) won Eurovision ten years ago.
The big unknown right now is the implementation phase. How confident and enthusiastic is Nemo when he sings live during a performance? If it fits, then the price may go up. Nemo, 12 points for you!
