Pierin Vincenza will be well into his 70s before he knows whether he will have to go to prison. His assets remain protected and funds will not be disclosed.

The overturning of the conviction on the grounds of “over-indictment” embarrassed the trio of prosecutors around Marc Jean-Richard dit-Bressel. Law professor Peter W.
