Meyer advises for the last time: almost 500!

Dear reader,

Since August 2014, I have been able to provide answers to a variety of life questions here. This is the 479th and final edition. Ringier Publishing discontinued the column at the end of January. He was just a little ahead of me in this; I myself wanted to stop at the 500th series. Firstly, because it is a beautiful number. And secondly, because I have already talked a lot about the topics of love, relationships, family, career and morality and would like to move on to other things.

But 479 is also a good number! It is very unusual for a publisher to allow an author to write so many columns, and I would like to thank Ringer for this. The payment provided pizza and Playmobil for me and my son for almost ten years. I would also like to thank Kimia Justusa, who so lovingly, creatively and energetically illustrated this column, as well as Alexandra Fitz, Benno Tuchschmid and Christian Waber for their always friendly cooperation with the editors!

Thank you too, dear reader, for repeatedly complimenting me in my messages, often spontaneously on the street or while shopping, which always made me very happy (no need to stop).

But I am especially pleased that this column has given so many people comfort, help and guidance in difficult situations. That was definitely the intention, but I could never have imagined the consequences. It always made me very quiet.

Now it’s time to be silent here and wish you a healthy, easy and honest life. Don’t do anything I suggested here!
