A new generation of politicians in Panama

Each generation faces the challenge of inheriting a world that is constantly changing, but also has the power to transform it. Starting in the political arena, more than a personal choice, is a deep commitment to the future of our country. Motivated by the fundamental belief that politics is the way to create real and meaningful change in our society, my decision to get involved is not just a personal step, but a call to all young Panamanians, because the time has come to be active architects of our destiny.

It is easy to criticize decisions and actions from the outside, but real transformation is achieved only when we get involved and take action. Panama needs all of us, especially the new generation, to raise our voices and contribute to the change we want to see. Politics is not a spectator game; It is an active terrain where our voices, ideas and passions can shape the direction of our nation, which is why direct participation is necessary. Facing the country’s challenges is not achieved from the stands, but from the very heart of decision-making.

AND FROM THE AUTHOR: The anti-constitutional treaty that exposed the political reality

There are no empty seats in politics. If we do not get involved, these spaces will be occupied by the same actors as always, these political dinosaurs who will continue to define our present and future. This is not a call for traditional politics, but for a new way of understanding it, if we really seek to break the cycle. The new political generation has the power to change the country’s narrative. Youth represent the force needed to promote visionary policies that benefit all Panamanians, building bridges, reaching out and collaborating for the common good.

Motivation is not simply taking positions, but changing paradigms. Fully convinced that the new generation has the power to transform the country’s narrative and the necessary strength to promote visionary policies that benefit all Panamanians. We must show that politics can be a vehicle for true service. Political dinosaurs have had more than enough opportunities to do good things for our country. If they haven’t done so by now, it’s time to step aside and make room for a new generation dedicated to tangible results and real progress, who don’t want the same old to continue to define our future.

We are a voice that can challenge outdated structures and bring innovative ideas, and our goal is not only to win elections, but to build Panama fairer and more advanced. Politics is for those who have the courage to dream and the determination to act. Every effort, no matter how small, if made with humility and determination, will contribute to the change we want to see in our nation. Together we will build a future that reflects hope and progress that Panama deserves.
