of several years we celebrate in panama, Children’s Day, every third Sunday in July. I remember that in my childhood it was celebrated on the first day of the month of November and that on that date recreational activities were held all over the country. He loved to sing, dance, ride a bike, skate; it was a fun day. The day had something special! The boys enjoyed the little activities that made us feel like the day belonged to us.
Today, there are several activities that celebrate it small household; families they meet and give them away; weaving ties with them. I talked to some contemporaries and they say that for them Children’s Day is still celebrated – in their memory – on the first of November. I think that what is evoked is more than a specific date, specifically, the meaning of that memory and how special it made us feel.
That said, did you think that in the frame we should honor the celebration of this day also to the inner child, who still lives in you, whom you admire, but perhaps you have never told him; and today you left behind?
Let us stop to see him again and feel his presence like a ray of light that always follows us. he is a part our interior and walk with us, together we go forward. Some experts would say that it is an important part of who we are today.
Days before the publication of this text, a filter was circulating on social networks that, through artificial intelligence, transports the user’s face to a forgotten youth in a thousandth of a second. People who use and record their use, they are illuminated sometimes a tear escapes their eyes, when they look again at the young man or child they once were.
This experiment is really interesting, because it proves that no matter how many years pass, that child lives in us and evokes nostalgia to see it again. When you internalize the above, if you see that child and he looks at you smiling, you’ve done your job well, if you see him with his head down, he raises his face, because you still owe him and that’s the a chance to meet again.
Remember what you did and what you loved at that time, it is the link that connects you to who you are today, in other words: your essence. He has determined the course of your life. I applaud their exploits and their achievements lift their spirits. That’s why no one praised him for that hug or kiss that maybe no one gave him, for the tears he just wiped away or for the time when he overcame some blow that life dealt him, too soon. Do it for him who was trembling with fear or cold because of the misfortunes that befell him the mind could not bear. No one will be able to erase good or bad experiences and they are what bind you to who you are today. This time I am opening the space for you to embrace that inner child and remember it for everything it taught you in order to give meaning to what you live in the present.
