Traveling to the USA is finally getting easier again! On May 11, America will remove vaccines for international air travelers. This was announced by the US government under President Joe Biden (80) on Tuesday. Concretely, this means that Swiss people wishing to fly to the US won’t need proof of corona vaccine any time soon.

Vaccination mandatory for the elderly

Partial vaccination obligation still applies in Italy. And for anyone over 50. In Greece this applies to persons over 60 years of age. In some countries, occupational groups, particularly in the health and care sector, still have to be vaccinated. So in England, France, Hungary, Russia or Pakistan. However, tourists can enter these countries without any restrictions.

What about the obligation to wear a mask? Even Hong Kong and China, which have long made headlines with their overly strict Covid regimes, have recently lifted mask-wearing requirements.
