Within the scope of its audit, Ofcom examined 226 products in the fields of telecommunications systems and electromagnetic compatibility of electrical devices last year. He announced it on Tuesday.

215 percent or 95 percent of the products tested did not meet all the requirements for placing on the market and for use in Switzerland. 80 percent may cause frequency interference due to imperfections that other wireless communication devices may use.

PMR systems (private mobile radio) were checked first. The remote controls, remote control toys and WLANs tested were also often faulty. In addition, OFCOM has brought 300 administrative penalties for imported radio systems listed as incompatible.
