Switzerland wants to change jobs in 2023 – young people make more money!

class=”sc-97fd9fa8-0 jNFKxv”>

This job market is a dream for workers! Lowest unemployment rate in 20 years (2.1 percent) and shortage of skilled workers. It couldn’t be better if you want to change jobs or get paid more.

And apparently, many employees are seeking a change this year, as shown in a representative survey conducted by Blick privately owned, online recruiter Onlyfy by Xing. That’s why 60 percent — that’s 6 out of 10 employees — can dream of changing jobs in 2023.

Young confident

The study also looked at why employees are asking for a pay rise this year. High inflation and the associated rise in prices were the most talked about, followed by “more responsibility” and “feeling that wages are below market value”.

Striking: Young professionals in particular seem to have high self-confidence. 35 percent of 18- to 29-year-olds demand higher wages as their status has risen due to a shortage of skilled workers; 31 percent because the employer depends on them. Among those over 50, the latter is a likely cause for only 15 percent. (NO)
