Even looking at destinations served, there was little change in Easter air traffic. There were fewer flights from Zurich to Tel Aviv, which can probably be explained by the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Of the European cities, there were more frequent flights to Prague, Stockholm and Naples, while fewer flights to Paris, Nice or Vienna.

Flight movement figures at Zurich Airport are based on daily updated statistics, with all flights recorded in accordance with instrument flight rules. This traffic, called IFR traffic, includes cargo, business and private flights in addition to scheduled services. But the number of flight movements says nothing about the size and capacity utilization of the aircraft used.
