Will it be available in Switzerland soon?: Coca-Cola launches its new raspberry and spice flavored variety

After many years, Coca-Cola is finally expanding its product range again: Since this Monday, the US beverage manufacturer has been tickling its customers with the new Spiced variety. As the name suggests, innovation is spicy. It specifically contains raspberry and spice flavors, as the company advertises the product on its website.

The company wants to appeal primarily to a younger audience with spicy cola. Coca-Cola has problems especially with young people. “Flavored soda sales have been growing faster than cola for years,” Duane Stanford, editor of industry magazine “Beverage Digest,” told CNN.

Accordingly, the beverage giant promotes Coca-Cola with Twist as a popular and surprising drink. At the presentation of the Spiced variety, global brand manager Oana Vlad said it was a “unique, refreshing taste experience” and spoke of Coca-Cola’s “boldest brand innovation to date”.

Is Coca-Cola Spiced also coming to Switzerland?

Coca-Cola’s business is still doing well. The group expects an 8 to 9 percent increase in sales for 2023. Much of the expected increase in sales is due to higher prices; Coca-Cola manages to increase prices in this country, too.

Speaking of Switzerland: Local Cola fans will have to give up on the new spice flavor for now. Or get the new coke in the US or Canada, where Spiced is now available.

Blick asked Coca-Cola Switzerland if the spicy variety would also be available in that country. The company is mysterious: “We are currently unable to provide any information regarding its launch in Switzerland or other countries.”
