One of the oligarch’s companies signed a loan agreement with the British woman, which was terminated in 2017 after being extended several times. According to the trust deed, the English woman never owned the villa in the Alps.

However, in order for expropriation to take place, politicians will need to be able to prove that false information was given in official documents. Perhaps the files have not completely disappeared from the world, as state Governor Wilfried Haslauer (67) told the state parliament last Wednesday.
