Following the takeover of Credit Suisse by UBS, it was unclear for a long time what would happen next to CS brand ambassador Roger Federer (42). Because: All CS sports sponsorships are under review. For example, that of the Super League or the football federation.
“We will keep all the sponsorship commitments we have made until at least the end of 2025,” UBS CEO Sergio Ermotti (63) said at the “Forum des 100” in Lausanne on Tuesday. UBS will continue its sponsorship of Roger Federer until at least 2025. It remains unclear what will happen to his other sporting commitments. However, given Federer’s commitment, it does not seem impossible to extend other sponsorship agreements with athletes with whom Credit Suisse has previously signed contracts.
“Of course we have to control what we do,” Ermotti continued. But we also need to look at what the partnership brings in terms of commercial and social value.
