Hanneke Faber (54) now heads the Logitech Group.

Positive news from Logitech. A successor has been named for CEO Bracken Darrell, who resigned suddenly in June after a decade on the job. Starting in December, Dutch Hanneke Faber (54) will head the Swiss computer accessories manufacturer.

Faber will first work as CEO at Logitech’s headquarters in Switzerland and move to Silicon Valley next year, the US-Swiss company announced late Monday evening.

Since then, board member Guy Gecht has been the interim head of Logitech. In the statement, it was stated that he will continue to work as interim CEO until Faber takes office, after which he will continue his duties on the board of directors, including chairing the Technology and Innovation Committee.

Faber comes to Logitech from consumer goods company Unilever. There he managed a $14 billion nutrition business as Group President. Its remit spanned more than 150 countries and included brands, research and development, B2B business unit Unilever Food Solutions and a supply chain of approximately 60 factories and contract manufacturers worldwide.
