Net zero CO2 emissions by 2040 – that’s the Swiss Post’s climate target, he reminded in a statement Monday. The Swiss Post wants to reduce about 90 percent of its CO2 emissions by 2040. According to the Swiss Post, the remaining 10 percent, which until then was technologically unavoidable, wants to be actively removed from the atmosphere and preserved for the long term.
The company emphasized that Swiss Post’s climate and energy targets are in line with the strategic goals of the Federal Council and the federal government’s 2050 Energy Strategy.
