Single-person households over the age of 65 experienced the highest inflation in the last twelve months. The perceived inflation rate for them was 2.0 percent. Because the products and services they demand are more affected by inflation. Single-person households under the age of 65, on the other hand, felt the price increase the least.

Some everyday items have already become cheaper

However, given the recent price developments, consumers can breathe a sigh of relief. Prices of many everyday goods hardly rose from May to June. Package tours and dairy only slightly increased. Sugar, margarine, edible fats and oils and bread have become cheaper in the last month.
