The decision came after True Social agreed to enforce policies to remove infringing content, Google told AFP on Wednesday (local time).
Google previously refused to offer the app on Google Play. This was due to lack of moderation and violation of Google guidelines. Google has since announced that Truth Social has implemented effective systems for reporting and removing unwanted content.
Former US President Trump founded Truth Social in February 2021 after being banned from major online platforms, including Twitter.
During his tenure, Trump used more Twitter than any US president before him, and made polemical and often humiliating statements about his political opponents to a global public around the clock.
