“Innovative products”: Barry Callebaut continues to supply Unilever

Chocolate maker Barry Callebaut continues to supply chocolate for Unilever’s Magnum ice cream. The two companies are extending the strategic supply agreement. (archive image)

Unilever has extended its long-term strategic agreement to supply cocoa and chocolate from Barry Callebaut, the Zurich-based group announced on Wednesday. However, the order of magnitude of the delivered quantity or financial details were not given.

Under the renewed supply agreement, first signed in 2012, Barry Callebaut will supply Unilever with “innovative chocolate products” for ice cream production, “thereby supporting its long-term strategic growth worldwide.” In addition, Barry Callebaut will continue to support Unilever in achieving its sustainability goals.
