‘Modest fashion’ sensation: how the most beautiful Jordanian princess made cheap designer dresses an overnight hit

Rajwa Al Saif, the beautiful bride of the heir to the throne of Jordan, walked down the aisle in an incredibly beautiful train dress by Elie Saab – we already talked about Rajwa’s wedding dress in detail.

Her mother-in-law Rania showed up at her eldest son’s wedding in black and gold Dior. It seems that these fashion houses are especially loved by high-ranking ladies in the Middle East.

However, there were some surprises. One of the most memorable images was the bow of 16-year-old Princess Haala. Queen Noor’s beloved granddaughter, daughter of her youngest son Hashim and Fahda, daughter of Saudi businessman Mohammed Abu Nayan, has blossomed. The mixture of blood gave her an exotic appeal: the girl has bright eyes and very beautiful red hair.

Haala was able to find a dress that accentuated her appearance extremely favorably. Although the princess was not the only guest dressed in green and gold (this is a traditional combination for Muslim culture), but in her case, the harmony of dress style, hair, figure and accessories created a beautiful image that drew the attention of bloggers on the site. The young Jordanian princess was nicknamed “the new star of the east”.

The dress looked extremely opulent, and it was all the more surprising when it turned out to be made by a small Saudi Arabian “modest fashion” brand, Shalky. “Modest fashion” or modest fashion is a fast-growing trend that emerged based on traditional religious clothing that hides the naked body and features of the figure.

Shalky has been producing clothes from natural fabrics with hand embroidery since 1999, and the cost of this brand’s outfits is quite low – the most expensive dress costs about 1500 Saudi Riyals, which is about 35,000 in rubles. Not an exorbitant amount for a princess!

Once the website found out where Haala bint al Hashim bought her dress, the model was “outed” within hours – now the dress still appears in the collection, but is marked “Sold Out”. Of course, the choice of the princess in general boosted interest in the brand – Middle Eastern fashionistas began to buy Shalka dresses and there is a lot to choose from.

Bloggers are amazed by the choice of the princess and thank her for opening up to the world an interesting authentic brand that had only local fame before this bright release. The cost of the dress is also discussed: Haala bint al Hashim’s demonstrated ability to dress lavishly without spending exorbitant amounts is endearing. Not mass market Kate Middleton of course, but there will be more!
