Fans have been waiting for a long time, now it’s finally here: Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman shoot “Deadpool 3” after already appearing on camera together as mutants Deadpool and Wolverine in the oft-rejected “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.” But it doesn’t seem to stop at this “X-Men” reunion, because Also Hall Berry, Jansen family And James Marsden come along as Storm, Jean Gray and Cyclops. All three previously played those roles in the original X-Men trilogy and in the time travel crossover X-Men Days of Future Past.
The appearance of the three original “X-Men” stars is still just a rumor, but we tend to believe these rumors for several reasons And not just because it fits the nostalgia trend that started with Spider-Man: No Way Home. First, because the source, Twitter scooper has proven itself quite reliable in the past and has often managed to distinguish itself with correct information, especially when it comes to Marvel.
Second, because it fits Halle Berry has appeared on social media in recent days with a new haircut that is suspiciously reminiscent of her silver and white Storm hairdo and therefore already caused a lot of speculation in fan circles. Finally, the shooting of “Deadpool 3” is currently underway:
And third, because it also just fits into the (presumed) plot of “Deadpool 3”, in which we apparently expect a wild chase across the various timelines and parallel universes of the Marvel Multiverse. Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman has already blurted out that there will be time travel or travel through different Marvel timelines in the Marvel mutant adventure.
Fittingly, the TVA multiverse guardians known from the MCU series “Loki”, including Mobius (Owen Wilson), should also be present in “Deadpool 3” and then possibly on the heels of Deadpool and Wolverine staple
And so it only makes sense that in addition to the “Deadpool” permanent staff of supporting characters such as Vanessa, Blind Al and Dopinder as well as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Yukio and Colossus, the most famous original X-Men stars Storm, Cyclops and Jean Gray on somehow a role – and possibly even more.
But we’ll have to wait a little longer until we know if the three X-Men are really there. “Deadpool 3” will be released in German cinemas on November 6, 2024.
