Amilcar Gotti and his passion for writing

From a young age, 45-year-old Amilcar Gotti spent hours imagining fantastic worlds and extraordinary characters, and in written form he found the possibility to bring his ideas to life, but exploring his creativity he discovered another language in which he conveyed his emotions and feelings, composing songs.

“(…) Every chord and every verse became a form of personal expression, where I could share my stories and emotions with the world in a unique and captivating way,” he commented for Panama America Gotti, who was even part of a musical band.

Gotti (@amilcargottiescritor) always had an interest in writing a book and his affinity for history This motivated him to write a novel about the historical wealth of Panama in relation to the Masonic order and finally in 2022 he made his debut as a writer with “Los Secretos del Acta”.

The story is based on real events with elements that Gotti, as a reader, likes to find pictures, maps, photographs and newspaper clippings in a literary work that enrich the reading experience.

“My goal with “Secrets of the Act” was to share a novel that explores Panamanian history and its connection to the Masonic order, as well as dealing with the controversy surrounding my great-great-grandfather (Ernesto Goti, secretary of the municipal council in 1903) and the Panamanian Independence Act of 1903,” explained the author.

In a new post, the so-called “Dawn of Janus”launched this month, the protagonists “Secrets of the Act” They face a new challenge and explore symbolic places in Panama in search of answers.

“In this new story, I’m not just talking about masonic orderbut also in other fraternal orders in Panama, such as the mechanical lodges, the Knights of Columbus, the Foresters and many more,” explained Gotti.

Gotti revealed that they call him the pay attention to literary genres related to the research of historical facts and within them he is particularly interested in books by authors such as Zecharia Sitchin, Christopher Knight and Robert Lomas.
