Alternate ending for “John Wick 4”? The makers are fooling the fans

In “John Wick: Chapter 4”, Keanu Reeves fights for three hours until the last act, where the boss waits for the killer on the steps in front of the Sacré-Cœur in Paris. John Wick does not survive this final battle and at the end of the film you see how he is carried to his grave.

The official Twitter account of the “John Wick” movies wrote yesterday that there is an alternate ending for the movie. In it, his secret daughter is introduced.

But the Twitter account allowed itself a joke. The link does not lead to a scene with an alternate ending, but to a ten-hour video in which Wick falls over and over again from the steps of the Sacré-Cœur. A whole ten hours.

And while Wick is now dead, that doesn’t mean the end of the franchise. Two spin-offs have already been announced: “The Continental” is set in 1975 and tells the story of young Winston Scott. This series will be released this fall. The second project is called “Ballerina” and takes place between the third and fourth parts of “John Wick”. Starring Ana de Armas, the theatrical release is announced for June 2024.
