E-scooters are very popular with boys, precisely because you can ride them with or without a moped ID. However, e-Vespas and e-motorcycles are less common on Swiss roads. As with classic Vespas and motorcycles, you also need a driving license category A1 small motorcycles or a driving license category A (restricted) limited to 35 kW, depending on the engine power. Below are ten e-scooters that fall into one of two categories.

The Seat Mó 125 Performance holds the Guinness World Record in two disciplines. Two endurance records for fully electric scooters were set within 48 hours. A relay race was run in the first 24 hours. In the second 24 hours, an endurance record was set with only one driver. The driver covered a total of 1158 kilometers. This roughly corresponds to the distance from Zurich to Barcelona.

Like the Vespa Elettrica, the Piaggio 1 Active is made by Piaggio and is arguably the smarter but less cool alternative to the Vespa. There is room for two people, so you can bring a friend. It is rated at 15 horsepower, but when accelerating, the Zero S engine can produce up to 59 horsepower. The range and speed make the Zero S a motorcycle that actually has nothing in common with the other scooters in the A1 category.
