Total Crazy Confusion: “Guardians Of The Galaxy 3” Star Was Mistaken For A Character From “Toy Story” (!) In The Toilet

While filmmakers are constantly told that Hollywood lacks original new ideas, the most improbable stories take place in real life – which in the cinema might be viewed as “unrealistic” or “stupid” for being too far-fetched. This has now happened to actor Will Poulter, as he revealed in interviews:

While most people know the now 30-year-old Briton from the comedy hit “We Are the Millers”, from the dystopian “Maze Runner” saga or from the Marvel blockbuster “Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3”, currently in cinemas allowed, he recently fell victim to a pretty insane mix-up: “Last week a guy at a urinal in LA turned to me and said, ‘You’re in’Toy Story‘, or?'”Poulter recalls speaking when he was mistaken for the antagonist of the Pixar classic Sid Phillips.

The actor’s wonderfully dry response: “Well, it was animated.” Poulter, aware that a “Toy Story” meme has been floating around him since he dressed up as the same mean Sid for Anti-Bullying Week, knows that he may be wearing his disguise himself. misunderstanding. “But, 1995. I was two years old then. And there is no live-action version of it.” Incidentally, the actor recently told the same story when asked about his weirdest encounter with a fan:

As funny and utterly banal as that incident is, it also prompted Poulter to eventually broach a more serious subject:

What is attractive? What not? The problem with beauty ideals

Poulter spoke opposite so at the end of the “weird” debate, which revolves around whether the actor is attractive or unattractive. “I’m fine with not being conventionally attractive because I’ve always had comments about my unusual appearance, whether it was my eyebrows or whatever,” says Poulter, sharply criticizing this superficiality. “Why do we spend so much time discussing people’s appearance? Especially with women.”

Ultimately, women are much more often objectified. He himself is a bit lucky that he is privileged as a man. But regardless of whether it’s a man or a woman, Poulter wonders, “Why is that getting so much attention?” According to the Englishman, this is partly due to social media: “Unfortunately, social media has given rise to the problematic idea that everyone’s opinion on all subjects is equal.”

Regardless of his looks, Will Poulter has long since broken through in Hollywood. He’s now proving his talent in a wide variety of roles – not only celebrating his MCU debut, but also recently starring in a crime thriller adaptation based on Agatha Christie:
