Through a scene from “Fast & Furious 10” was released to tie right in with the ending of “Fast & Furious 9”: Han (Sung Kang) knocks on Shaw’s (Jason Statham) door. We remember: In “The Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift”, Han apparently dies in an accident. It was revealed in “Fast & Furious 6” that Shaw was behind this and wanted to kill him. But the next twist followed in “Fast & Furious 9”. Han uses the attempt on his life to fake his own death with the help of Mr. Nobody (Kurt Russell).
So it goes with Jason Statham and Sung Kang
At the end of the ninth film, the still alive Han looked Shaw in the eye. What happens next in turn triggers “Fast & Furious 10”. In a clip that has now been released, Shaw is quite surprised when he sees Han in front of him (but maybe also because his hair has grown rapidly since the scene started at the end of Part 9). When Han, who is known to love his snacks, reaches into his coat pocket to snack on them, Shaw’s logical conclusion is: someone’s out for revenge! So he pulls his opponent into the apartment to fight.
Roman (Tyrese Gibson), Tej (Ludacris) and Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel) are left behind in front of the door, which Shaw quickly locked. While trying to help their buddy Han, he has to be locked up with Shaw’s fighting machine and make it clear to his opponent that all he wants to do is talk.
Is it really called “Justice For Han”?
On the occasion of the release of the short video op director Louis Leterrier promises that the justice demanded by fans using the hashtag #JusticeForHan online is now real: “Justice For Han was teased in the previous movie, but Justice For Han is now in this episode. I wanted this moment to be special. That was something I [im vorherigen Film] missed. They are mortal enemies, yes […] what better way to truly do Han justice than an epic battle between these two iconic figures.”
But don’t expect the fight to end with Han killing Shaw. Short fragments at the end of the video, which you exclusive can seeand the material known so far already makes it clear that Han, Shaw and the rest of the crew around Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) are working together. As early as May 17, 2023 “Fast and Furious 10“ in German cinemas.
