Delyanne Arjona, was denied support in Pandeportes

Chef and manager Delyanne Arjona experienced firsthand what local athletes experience when they request some kind of support from the Panama Institute of Sports (Pandeportes).

One often hears anecdotes about athletes who receive little or no support from the institution, and now it was Arjona’s turn, who asked for help for her daughter to compete in figure skating.

As a mother of a family, Chef approached pandeportes and asked for some things, which he described as “simple”, like a flag with a pole and a sound system, but was told that they didn’t have anything.

“They don’t even have a flag… it’s Saturday figure skating competition my daughters… then it occurred to me to ask for support from the Pandeportes and that didn’t happen because they have nothing, and when I tell them they have nothing, they have nothing,” he commented Chef.

The host repeated that they were basic things“simple”, and that they did not offer support.

He explained that he was stereo which he was looking for, with “gallo” they lent him conditioneda topic he went into in detail.

“Imagine athletes our countries that have to deal with it every day…”, said Arjona, adding that the respect she has for her is low National sport.

It was led by the management of Pandeportes Hector Brands for the past 23 months and this April 29th, he resumes his functions in the legislature, where he is focused on presenting a new sports law that seeks to update the country’s public sports policy.
