Flowers, bunnies and painted eggs in a basket – this is probably the classic Easter decoration. Especially for families with children, rabbits, chickens and sheep should not be missing on Easter.

Even those who don’t care much about church holidays are looking forward to the upcoming Easter and a few days off from work. Finally getting some more sleep, inviting family and friends, and having more time to enjoy your home – what more could you ask for?

With the right Easter decorations, Easter haters can slowly but surely get into the Easter mood. It doesn’t take much effort or time to do this. What belongs to Easter, like Amen to the Church: eggs, flowers and flowers! Rabbits, chicks and sheep should not be missing from Easter decorations in homes with children.

1. Metallic to pastel

Depending on the style and taste of the flooring, the decoration can be more or less extravagant. The metallic trend can also be seen in decorative accessories for Easter in terms of color. For example, with candles or vases, bowls and lanterns in silver and gold tones. Pastel tones are just as fashionable as natural tones. Strong hues are also always popular at Easter and bring color to the house.

2. Modern and stylish Easter decorations

The combination of black, white and some gold looks very stylish and modern. Minimalists love this look of white Easter eggs simply placed in a glass bowl or wooden plate with a candle on the coffee table or sideboard. To do this, various patterns are drawn to match the mood of the purchased white decorative eggs with black felt-tip pens, like those that are probably still used in every office. If you like a little glamor, write on the eggs or decorate with a gold pen.

3. Decorative Easter Wreaths

A door, window or wall wreath always looks great at Easter. You can also make your own with branches, moss and flowers. But you can also find ready-made wreaths in all the shops – or you can decorate a wreath you bought yourself. It might be helpful to take a look at the pantry. Decorations are usually from previous years and can be rearranged before new ones are acquired.

4. Decoration from the garden

If you want to get creative yourself, you can buy feathers, moss, straw and eggs for your Easter decorations from a craft store or hardware store. For example, large ostrich eggs or small quail eggs arranged in a nest made of straw look very stylish. If you have your own garden, you can cut a few branches with buds and place them in a floor vase in the living room. It looks beautiful, decorated with eggs or bunnies. Especially when the buds turn into delicate flowers after a few days.

Quite simply, hyacinths, pansies, primroses or calendula in pots can be covered with moss. Put a few feathers on top and a few quail eggs in potting soil – a longer-blooming Easter decoration on the window sill or terrace is ready.

Alternatively, the flower pots can be placed in small paper bags and tied with twine or ribbon for decoration. Tip: To prevent the bags from getting wet and looking unsightly without watering, first place the pots in a small pot or wrap them in a plastic bag or aluminum foil out of sight.

Another remarkable thing is that colored eggs hang from a branch on decorative strips of different lengths. This makes you really want to have an Easter brunch with friends and family or spend a few cozy days at home.
