I’ve been thinking about motherhood for a long time. Since I was 18 (almost 20 years old) it has never been a question for me if I want children, only when. I felt this very strongly. The thing is my last long term relationship turned toxic and broke up. And since then, unfortunately, I have never met anyone with whom a stable partnership would have developed. Usually it just goes past each other.

Now I’m standing there, approaching the big 40, wondering how to handle the topic of “having kids of my own”? For me, the foundation of parenting would be a good, stable relationship – so simply adopting as a single mom wouldn’t be an option. I would like to share this experience and responsibility. At the same time, I have to get used to the idea of ​​not getting to know someone in time – firstly, a relationship still needs time for itself for a child, and secondly, I do not want to focus primarily on looking for a partner with children, but the one which is ‘right’ in itself » Find a man.
