Laura Pausini: I lost my “fighter’s instinct”

“Very satisfied” after the challenge of performing in 24 hours in three cities around the world for her 30-year career, from New York to Milan passing through Madrid, the Italian Laura Pausini continues to celebrate with new music that allowed her to overcome the recent crisis confidence in her professional future.

Composed by one of the members of the Italian band Pinguini Tactici Nucleari, the artist points out that he gathers “very Italian writing, but current”. “I feel comfortable and uncomfortable at the same time because it respects my past but brings it into the present and makes me sing and breathe in a different way,” she celebrates.

Although the lyrics and original story have changed, the title itself was already a spur to think about life in a different way. “Before, I programmed my life a lot, but there came a time when I was afraid that I was not afraid, that I knew too much, which is very similar to being dead,” he says.

“I feel alive because of fear and not knowing if I will be able to meet the challenges,” she points out as a justification for marathon which he embarked on last week with three concerts in one day, accepting the possibility of being wrong, as he sometimes was, but also getting up and learning from it.

‘Bella Ciao’
