“High heat”: that’s the story
Ana (Olga Kurylenko) is overjoyed: after long and hard work, she can finally open her own restaurant. While she is passionate about cooking and perfecting each dish, her husband Ray (Don Johnson) unleashes all his charms on the guests. The evening appears to be a great success.
But then Mick (Ivan Martin), the coarse son of local crime boss Dom (Dallas Page), suddenly appears. Very rudely, this reminds Ray of a huge mountain of debt with his father, which must finally be paid. Desperate Ray sees no other way out than to let Mick and his henchmen burn down the restaurant and then give them the insurance money. However, Ana is kept in the dark about this by her husband.
When things get serious that same evening, she is unexpectedly still in the house and busy with the final preparations for the next day. Not ready to give up her life’s dream yet, Ana is extremely efficient at taking out the bewildered criminals one by one. Ray is shocked – he had no idea his wife was once a Russian secret service agent…
