In a galaxy populated by all manner of obscure, menacing, and cuddly creatures, petty crook Grogu has catapulted himself straight to the top of the list of cutest Star Wars characters in the very first episodes of The Mandalorian. But not only Baby Yoda himself, but also his touching relationship with his foster father Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) won the hearts of “Star Wars” fans.
And after a surprising comeback in recent episodes of The Book of Boba Fett spin-off, the two are finally back with their own series: More than two years after the end of the second “Mandalorian” season, Season 3 finally kicks off on March 1, 2023 on Disney+. Every Wednesday, one of a total of eight episodes is published weekly.
In the new season, the eponymous bounty hunter finds himself on the Empire-infested Mandalorian homeworld, trying to redeem himself for taking off his helmet in violation of his clan’s strict code. There is also a conflict with Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff), who wants to rebuild the planet as the new leader, but actually needs the legendary dark sword that Din Djarin still has.
Meanwhile, I must regulate and control Grogu with his growing powers without expert guidance after he decided not to train with Jedi Master Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and – much to the audience’s delight – for further adventures with Mando.
