Three tips for entrepreneurs, according to Tanija Pimentel

Starting a business is not easy and in many cases, thinking that the project is not 100% complete or not perfect, the next step is not taken.

At this moment, the experiences of other entrepreneurs who have already overcome the dilemma you are in can be of great help.

Tania PimentelMexican entrepreneur and winner of the first season of the reality show “The Unstoppable School”talked to Panama America and shared three tips for those who want to take action.

Pimentel, creator Index of womenhe confirmed that everything starts with the courage to take action, even if there is fear and secondly, planning, a very important factor.

“From what will I finance the first months of my entrepreneurship, maybe I have savings and am preparing for this moment. Let’s also think that someone will give us millions, let’s hope. But, if not, how can we take responsibility for that part of our venture as well”, explained the entrepreneur.

In the end, he recommended looking for a mentor, he considers it very valuable, and supporting other people who are just starting out or who are a little further along will contribute a lot. growth and learning.

Leader or boss? Another important factor that will determine the success of the venture is the way in which it is directed, because it is mistakenly thought that the leader is the boss and that what he says is done, but on the contrary, he must direct which path to take and always follow his team.

“Well, it’s true that I felt unstoppable, I had the inner work to believe that I could, that I could win, that my effort was enough. I did my best. I left the rest of the decisions to my mentors, but I think it made me very changed and that it had a very positive impact on my work,” said Tania Pimentel about her participation in the first season of “Escuela Imparables”.

It is also important to take care of yourself. Pimentel admitted that she’s seen women leaders, CEOs and founders of businesses who don’t even eat, so it’s important to prioritize one’s own well-being in order to positively impact other spheres.

The influence of the ‘Unstoppable School’

Recently, the second season of “Escuela Unstoppables” was aired, by AND! Funwhere Pimentel returned as an advisor after winning the last edition.

The reality show had a positive impact on Pimentel’s venture, both economically and in terms of learning. “Women Index is a platform that helps women women they are more visible in their work, so that they can get better positions in leadership and decision-making. So, I can definitely see the before and after in myself personally and in the company,” he said.
