“Am I deliberately sabotaging all my relationships myself?”

I always believed that I was “incapable of relationships” because as soon as I had one I subconsciously did everything I could to change this situation. I don’t know where that impulse comes from. But after the first phase of falling in love, after two or three months, I always start quarrels out of the blue.

I also often act very mean, even though I’m not like that at all. I don’t want to hurt my partner at all right now, but I sometimes say really mean things that I also regret terribly afterwards. But I don’t know why I’m doing this…

Could it be that I sabotage all my relationships myself? Because I really don’t want one? I’ve been jumping from one relationship to another since I was 14. Now I’m 35 years old and I don’t think I’ve ever been single for more than half a year…
