The first images of “Fast & Furious 10” have been published by the British film magazine Empire, which also has some information up its sleeve. Because director Louis Leterrier (“The Transporter”) talks about a war with losses and also about the action, which seems to differ from its predecessor “Fast & Furious 9”. Jason Momoa as Dante
“Aquaman” star Jason Momoa plays the new villain of the series. His name is Dante and, according to Leterrier, is an “incredibly new character” and is “1000 percent Momoa”. It was previously leaked that Dante would be the son of the “Fast & Furious Five” villain Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida) and is probably out for revenge for his late father. He won’t be the only one Dom (Vin Diesel) and his family have to deal with. After all, Cypher (Charlize Theron) is still around.
Brie Larson is Tess
It has now been confirmed that “Captain Marvel” star Brie Larson’s character is named Tess. It has not been confirmed if she is really the daughter of the missing Mr. Nobody (Kurt Russell), as recently leaked. Instead of this Larson’s character has been described as “mysterious”. It should remain unclear at first whether she’s on Dom’s side or the bullies’ side.
Vin Diesel is Dom getting caught up in a “war”.

Good boys become bad boys, bad boys become good boys,” explains director Leterrier, promising an epic conflict: He even speaks of a “war” coming. There are “massive losses”. Could it be that even characters in the hitherto steadily growing and death-killing franchise actually die?
More handmade action on Earth again
The series “Fast & Furious” made it even wilder in action from part to part – recently it even went into space. Leterrier may also want to raise the bar in general, but wants to do so with a more grounded approach, quite literally. “I’m more hands-on than other directors and I brought it back to Earth,” he tells Empire.
“We decided to do real stunts that we enhance with visual effects. We shot in Los Angeles, London, Rio and Portugal. Lobsters are flying through the air around Rome [Anm.: er meint natürlich das Auto] blown up. There are some iconic images in this part. You’ll see, as long as Dom Toretto is behind the wheel of a car, there’s nothing he can’t do.”
