One thing right away: It will probably take you a while to “Avatar: The way of the water“can watch at home. Because the sequel to the most successful film of all time, like its predecessor, is completely designed for the cinema experience – preferably in 3D. And in order for as many people as possible to experience it in exactly the same way, the film will probably be in cinemas for a few more weeks. Especially since James Cameron’s blockbuster attracts more viewers to the cinemas than any other film.
So if you were hoping that the movie, like many Marvel blockbusters in the recent past – such as “Thor: Love And Thunder”, “Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness” or “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” – soon after its theatrical release on Disney+ will have to be patient for a while. There is no officially confirmed information about the movie’s home cinema launch, but early indications are that the date will be late April 2023:

But that’s what makes cinema so compelling, so exciting. “People don’t cry as much when they watch a movie at home as they do in the cinema,” Cameron continues, among other things. “You don’t have those deep emotions.”
The message for anyone who wants to experience “Avatar 2” not only in the home theater, but who wants to experience it, is clear: behave as you would behave in the cinema! That may not always be possible. But especially when it comes to not just sprinkling yourself, but leaving everyday life behind for two or three hours, it makes perfect sense:
Do all the things on your to-do list ahead of time, stock up on any necessary snacks, and let your phone be your phone instead of pausing (or worse, not pausing) to hang laundry, pop popcorn in the microwave , or answer a text or two. Immerse yourself in a movie – you’ll notice the difference…
