While some Marvel fans wish Ben Affleck got another chance to play “Daredevil” Matt Murdock in a multiverse story, the comic book giant seems to have other plans – at least if you think a new rumor wants to come.
The leaker MyTimeToShineHello, who specializes in MCU insider information and is considered trustworthy, reports that that there should be talks between Marvel and Affleck. It’s not about a “Daredevil” comeback, but the role as villainous Dario Agger in an as yet unknown upcoming MCU project. It would be a pretty crazy part since the Agger, who has mainly clashed with Thor and Hulk in the comics so far, is a Minotaur!

The fact that Dario Agger, who was only invented in 2014 for a “Thor” comic, is moving to the MCU has been rumored for quite some time. It has long been rumored that Christian Bale will play Dario Agger in Thor 4: Love And Thunder. As we know, that did not happen.
Dario Agger is a powerful and very wealthy Greek businessman who takes over the New York company Roxxon Energy Corp and presides over her as CEO. Roxxon already exists in the MCU, having appeared in the “Iron Man” movies and several series. Recently there was a Roxxon ad in She-Hulk.
When acting as CEO, Agger appears in human form, but is a shapeshifter. Because he can transform himself into a Minotaur, and must do so on a regular basis. He is driven by a lust for bloodkills regularly and then has to use some of his financial power to cover it up.
Incredibly strong and unstoppable in the form of a Minotaur, Agger is not to be underestimated as a human either. With his financial resources, he has access to all kinds of weapons. With his business, he also has hardly any scruples, works to exploit all the resources of the Earth and bring them under his control. This could fit with other rumors that Adamantium (keyword: Wolverine) is a new resource in the MCU that everyone will soon be fighting over – not just governments, but also dark characters like Agger.
But it’s important to remember it again. It’s still a rumor at the moment. Whether Ben Affleck actually makes his Marvel comeback and also plays Dario Agger, only the future will tell.
