“I’ve Tried Everything” – Jennifer Aniston Talks About Unfulfilled Childhood

At the moment she has nothing more to hide, says Jennifer Aniston in an unusually open conversation with the American magazine Allure.

Perhaps influenced by her character in Friends, Aniston has always been the ultimate “Girl Next Door” — a 90s euphemism meaning “non-intimidating” or “accessible.” In any case, the actress was recently reached in an interview with the American magazine “Allure”, the reporter of which invited her to her home.

In it she talks about her unfulfilled wish to have children – and what the media have done with it. At the time — and for years to come — there was speculation that Aniston may not have wanted children. It was even written that that was why her ex-husband, actor Justin Theroux, left her at the time: because she refused him a child. Now the 53-year-old makes it clear:

She didn’t want to reveal much about herself and always struggled with intimacy. One of the reasons was the many ‘false stories’ about her. So there was the story that she was just being selfish. “That I only cared about my career. And God forbid a woman should be successful and not have a child,” Aniston said.

Aniston was in a relationship with Justin Theroux from 2011 to 2017, of which they were married for two years. The actor responded to her recent revelations and the photos from the “Allure” shoot with a fist emoji and a heart emoji.

As early as 2016, Jennifer Aniston expressed her anger and wrote an opinion article in the “Huffington Post” (“For the Record” – roughly: “For the record” or “For your information”). In it, she criticized the press for her obsession with Aniston’s pregnancy and her dealings with women. She “just had to write it” because it’s so “insane and I’m not so superhuman that I can’t let it get through, and because it hurts.”

Now she wants to regain sovereignty over the story, maybe even write a book, the ‘Friends’ star says.

Today the actress was done with this: “I do not regret it.” She is even a little relieved because she no longer has to worry about whether she might ever have to fulfill her wish to have children. (lacquer)
